I am a food enthusiast and I blame my grandmother!
— Gillian Fraser, Granary

Grans are great!

My Grandmother had a health food shop for many years. I spent nearly every day after school there from an early age, weighing the dried fruit, pulses and coffee beans, helping price the products and serving the customers.

I have the fondest memories of my grandmother's health food shop and this is where I have inherited my passion for the health and nutritional benefits of food.

The health food shop was called Granary and this is why I have decided to call my cafe Granary - it holds a huge place in my heart.

To have my own cafe business
has been a dream for a very long time.

I am excited to be leaving the high pressure corporate world and working hard for myself and my family closer to our home in the beautiful town of Linlithgow.
My skills have developed through my career in event management, working with some of Scotland's top chefs and professionals in the world of catering and hospitality. Now this experience of providing great experiences can be applied to my own business.
I love learning about food and nutrition. I find great satisfaction in using the best quality ingredients and real joy preparing food and drinks for others.
At Granary, my appreciation of food, interest in nutrition for good health and my warm welcome will provide a haven for folk right here in Linlithgow town centre!
